DR. KHANNA TALKS PLASTIC SURGERY
Dr. Julie Khanna explains what she feels is great plastic surgery. She discusses the importance of feeling good about yourself, both inside and out and having that unspoken confidence. Great plastic surgery will allow you to look and feel your best, with no one knowing that you have had something done.
One of the most exciting things happening at ICLS involves fat. Fat can be used to augment the breast, restore lost volume to lines in the face and can even be stored for later use. Stem cells are mother cells that are particularly prevalent in fat. Their many uses at this time are unknown, but like cord-blood banking may prove to have a variety of life-altering uses in the future. ICLS is one of the only clinics offering stem cell banking. THE FEMALE PERSPECTIVE
Dr. Khanna discusses the benefits to being a female Plastic Surgeon. She is able to take a different perspective with regards to all surgeries, but specifically the surgeries that involve female concerns including breast surgery, liposuction and tummy tuck post pregnancy. Having five kids of her own, she has come to strongly understand the specific and unique concerns that women and mothers have including safety, and being able to achieve the most natural looking result.

ICLS’ AMBASSADOR PROGRAM IN SUPPORT OF THE
BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
We thought long and hard about how we could thank our patients for their word of mouth recommendations. So for the last year we have been giving back to our community in your honour. For every person who is referred to us by a friend or family member, we make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. With patient confidentiality being upheld at all times, we thought what better way to say thank you, than to support a cause that we hope will give back to you, your daughters and future generations.
