Pearly Penile Papules are medically known as Hirsuties papillaris genitalis. Pearly Penile Papules also known as “fordyce spots” are round domes called angiofibromas that are located on the corona ridge of the penis. They are usually flesh coloured and form rows. Pearly Penile Papules are benign and are not a sexually transmitted disease or genital warts. They are generally asymptomatic and have no harmful effects, though if they do affect your personal life or self–esteem they can be treated.
Pearly Penile Papules can be treated with a CO2, which burns the papules around the corona. These papules can also be treated using the PDL.
