What Is AviClear™?
AviClear™ is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation procedure that can combat acne at virtually all stages of severity. Considered safe for all skin types and tones, AviClear™ is the first treatment of its kind developed to suppress the sebaceous glands, which are responsible for the production of sebum. What Does the AviClear™ Acne Treatment Involve?
AviClear™ is delivered in a series of three treatment sessions scheduled four to six weeks apart. These sessions typically do not take longer than 45 minutes, and a recovery period is not necessary.
During the procedure, we will guide a small handheld device across your face. The device emits precise wavelengths of light energy, which are meant to slow the skin’s sebum production. AviClear™ utilizes a feature called AviCool™, which regulates body temperature and keeps the skin comfortably cool throughout the treatment. Patients may notice a “snapping” sensation during the procedure, but this is usually mild and quickly fades.
How Long Do AviClear™ Results Last?
The effects of a single AviClear™ session can last for several months when the treatment is performed by an experienced provider; that said, patients need to undergo a series of three treatments for optimal effects. Results typically begin to show within three to four weeks after your last session and can take up to one year to manifest a clearer and more radiant complexion with greatly reducing breakouts.
