Dr. Sapra’s practice consists of both general OHIP and cosmetic dermatology, and he also upholds an active role as a primary investigator for various clinical research trials. Dr. Sapra has always prided his wide involvement in the field of dermatology, whether it’s personally treating his patients with great care or contributing to the advancement of dermatology through research.
Dr. Sapra has made his own significant contributions to medical dermatology: he is a leading authority on skin health and skin cancer, and his expertise has been called on by Chatelaine, Canadian Better Living, CHCH News, and the Melanoma Network of Canada.
Dr. Sapra completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of British Columbia, and received his training in dermatology at the University of Ottawa and Dalhousie University.
Dr. Sapra’s outstanding work in the field of dermatology has led to his membership in numerous professional societies: he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
He is also a member of the Canadian Dermatology Association, the Canadian Laser Aesthetics Surgery Society, American Society of Dermatological Surgery, the International Society of Dermatological Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Contact Dermatitis Society, the Toronto Dermatological Society and the Ottawa Dermatological Society. Prior to opening his private practice, he was an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University.
