The Skin Spa was developed to cater to the needs of non-surgical, anti-aging interventions. Through many years of development, we have been successfully meeting the needs of thousands of patients in Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga and much of the GTA. The Skin Spa is directed and overseen by our medical Dermatologist, Dr. Sapra and our Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Khanna.
ICLS has made it our goal to deliver superior customer service along with cutting edge, effective, safe and reliable medical and cosmetic treatments to patients. We have been able to create a highly effective method of achieving this goal through extensive training of the Skin Spa Nursing team. Every nurse at ICLS has undergone months of hands on, comprehensive training both in-house and externally. Only after being reviewed and tested to meet our high standards of care, our nurses receive their ICLS wings.
How to Arrange an Appointment
When you are seeking a cosmetic consultation for your beautification needs, you may call us directly at 905-842-2262 or by e-mail at email@example.com. You will speak with one of our friendly Patient Care Coordinators and they will book you an appointment and provide you with details of what to expect at your upcoming appointment. We will ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment to fill out our pre-registration medical forms in office. This will include a medical history as well as a cosmetic section where you are able to express your concerns. You may also opt into our courtesy e-mail reminder system so that we are able to efficiently remind you of any and all upcoming appointments at ICLS. What to Expect During Your Visit
When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by our Skin Spa Patient Care Coordinator and you will be asked to present your valid health card, regardless of whether or not your appointment is covered by OHIP. This is due to our high standards of accuracy and to ensure all appointments are acknowledged correctly. It is your responsibility to ensure your card is valid before coming in for your appointment. Please arrive on time for your appointment if you have filled out your on-line registration, otherwise arrive 5-10 minutes earlier and one of our Patient Care Coordinators will be happy to assist you.
At the Skin Spa, we pride ourselves in being on time as we respect that your time is valuable. In cases of unforeseen circumstances and a small wait is required, we ask for your patience and understanding. You are welcome to bring your wireless devices with you, as we do offer complimentary WiFi.
During your consultation, you will be called into a room by one of ICLS’s highly trained Skin Spa nurses. She will review your Medical History and proceed through an initial assessment with you regarding your reason(s) for your visit. Having an open dialogue helps us create a customized treatment plan that best suits your goals, your lifestyle and your budget. To ensure we are able to meet your expectations while maintaining efficiency, the nurse will debrief Dr. Sapra on your initial consultation. This process allows a very efficient and effective way to expedite the process. After debriefing, Dr. Sapra and the nurse will meet with you together. Dr. Sapra will assess your cosmetic concerns as outlined in your initial consultation with the nurse and approve and/or further customize the comprehensive treatment plan and recommendations. Please remember this is an open dialogue and feel free to ask questions as they arise. If there are no further questions for Dr. Sapra, the nurse will counsel and educate you on the recommended treatment plan.
We have the highest level of commitment to provide on-going training for all staff to ensure we are up to date on the most advanced treatment options. All nurses at ICLS are highly trained to be an extension of the Doctors and to their standard of care. Sometimes, along with your treatment recommendations, Dr. Sapra or his nurse may recommend products to aid in your skin health and enhance and maintain your treatment results. Sometimes this will be by prescription or it may be an over-the-counter recommendation. We try to carry many of these products simply as a convenience to patients. All prices will be disclosed and purchases will be left to your discretion. At the close of the consultation, you will receive a detailed treatment plan with pricing and information sheets for reference. The nurse will then provide you with pre and post procedure counselling and education and answer any pending questions you may have before walking you to our Reception Desk to hand you over to a Patient Care Coordinator to book your next appointment.
If time permits, some treatments can be performed same day, but if not convenient; our Patient Care Coordinators will assist you in scheduling another appointment time and date that is better suited.
How Do I Book a Follow Up?
Your next appointment is usually booked at our Reception Desk with one of our Patient Care Coordinators. If you are not prepared to book your follow up then or a follow up is not recommended, you may call in at 905-842-2262 at your convenience.
