Fordyce Spots
Concern Fordyce spots are benign, flesh coloured growths that commonly occur on mucosal surfaces of the body including the genitals and the mouth. Fordyce spots are not sexually transmitted. They are generally asymptomatic and have no harmful effects, though many patients choose to have them treated as they affect their personal life or self-esteem.
Post procedure, the areas that were treated will be bruised. The bruising will become darker over the next few days after treatment. This is normal and will continue to fade as a bruise normally does. There is always a risk of post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation which does fade in time.
