What is Rosacea?
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition primary affecting the face. The first signs tend to be redness or blushing which initially come and go. Over time, redness may become more persistent and visibility more pronounced. The most common sites for symptoms are the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead. Over half of rosacea sufferers may also experience symptoms involving the eyes. Bumps, tiny pus filled pimples, and enlarged blood vessels can appear giving skin a rough uneven appearance. There is no known cure, but it can be managed through treatment and lifestyle changes.
- Topical redness-reducing products
- Oral antibiotics
