Erbium CO2

The more obvious signs of aging include deep wrinkles around the eyes and the mouth, deep nasolabial folds, all over “crepiness” and poor skin tone. Erbium CO2 laser is used to minimize deeper wrinkles fine lines, textural concerns and acne scarring, thus reducing many of the more prominent signs of aging. It provides an accurate method of restoring softer, smoother and more youthful appearing skin, with uniform color and better texture.

Erbium CO2 is often performed in conjunction with other facial surgeries including facelift or blepharoplasty or on its own. The laser removes upper layers of the skin to reveal fresh, new, healthy skin underneath. It is only the one treatment that would be required and patients can expect to be red for at least a few weeks.
