The Institute of Cosmetic and Laser Surgery is an entirety comprehensive facility that strives to far exceed the expectations and needs of every single one of our patients. Dr. Sheetal Sapra is the Director of Dermatology at the Institute of Cosmetic and Laser Surgery. Dr. Sapra is a dermatologist who specializes in laser technology, and focuses on both his OHIP, as well as his cosmetic practice. Dr. Julie Khanna is the Director of Plastic Surgery at the Institute of Cosmetic and Laser Surgery. Dr. Khanna is a female plastic surgeon who primarily specializes in all forms of breast surgery including augmentation and breast lift, as she played an instrumental role in achieving the approval for silicone implants initially in 1999, and was the first doctor to use the cohesive gel for primary augmentation, in Canada. Dr. Khanna does also specialize in facial reshaping procedures such as facelift and body contouring procedures such as liposuction and abdominoplasty. Always in the forefront of new technologies, Dr. Sapra and Dr. Khanna continually research the latest industry developments to determine which equipment, products, and procedures would be of the most benefit to their patients.

Dr. Sapra and Dr. Khanna have been married for over 15 years, which allows them to operate in a completely non–competitive environment. Therefore, although other plastic surgeon and dermatologist teams exist, you can be assured that the treatment program being suggested was created specifically to meet your expectations. During consultation with either Dr. Sapra or Dr. Khanna, your individual needs will be evaluated and the most suitable and effective treatment option will be suggested for you.

Although the Institute has four main areas, we do operate as one cohesive, organized and functional unit. These areas include Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, the Skin Spa and Clinical Trials. Working as a unified team, patients experience clear communication and smooth transitions throughout the clinic. We also want future patients to expect to experience a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Every aspect of our practice has been designed with your comfort and well being in mind. This also means that no special requests, needs or detail is ever overlooked. We see patients from all over Canada, but the Institute is very close to Hamilton, Burlington, Mississauga, Toronto and Milton. Although we have grown over the years to meet the needs of all of our patients, with over 25 laser systems, two fully accredited operating rooms, 16 treatment rooms and over 50 staff, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide patients with an extremely personal and caring environment.
