Face lift – neck lift surgery is performed in our fully accredited clinic under a local anesthetic with sedation, or under general anesthesia. Dr. Khanna makes a series of incisions to help eliminate loose skin and re–drapes the remaining tissue into a more youthful position. It is a misconception that the hairline will have to be moved farther back, as incisions are made deeper behind the natural hairline. Loose skin and muscle in the neck can also be addressed and would be performed at the same time as the facelift surgery. To minimize any visible scarring, incisions usually begin above the hairline at the temple and follow the natural line in front of the ear and curve behind the earlobe into the crease behind the hair and further into the scalp. A facelift and/or necklift takes only a few hours to perform, and leaves patient feeling and looking their very best.
