Zeltiq^™ uses Cryolipolysis^™ cooling technology to effectively remove excess fat from various areas of the body. There are two types of Zeltiq^™ which include both a small and large handpiece. This ensures that the technology can form to various contours and body shapes. On the day of your procedure you will be comfortably reclined in a treatment chair. The hand piece uses suction to remain attached to the treatment site and is left on for 1 hour. During this time, there is minimal discomfort and patients will often work on their laptop, read a book or watch a DVD on a handheld monitor. The cold will destroy a specific layer of your fat cells, which are then naturally excreted over time, resulting in a slimmer and tighter body contour.
