I’m a little frightened that I am just posting about this now, but it has been SOOOOOOO busy around these parts. But we couldn’t be happier. We would like to extend a humongous thank you to all of our wonderful, loyal patients who have been so supportive during this transition from paper to electronic records.
So to bring a fun and happy spin on this already amazing Friday, we’d like to talk about “Suppppppeerrrrrr Booooooowwwwwlllllll!” Sorry about the excessive use of letters, but we were just trying to bring you back to the Super Bowl spirit. Our amazing Dermatologist Dr. Sheetal Sapra was lucky enough to go to New Orleans to watch the Super Bowl live from the Superdome. After multiple delayed flights and other bumps in the road, they finally arrived safe and sound in the bustling city of New Orleans well in time for the game. Every seat in the arena was packed and the energy was palpable.
The following description comes from Dr. Sapra’s good friend; because when we asked Dr. Sapra what the Super Bowl was like he gave us a twenty minute monologue about his one true love…food. There was gumbo, craw daddies and fried delectables galore! He did manage to leave out the minor details like oh, I don’t know? THE GAME! But after more poking, prodding and probing, we discovered that the game really was amazing. Everyone was sitting on the edge of their seats and when the lights went out, everyone including the players seemed to find it funny more than anything. Lastly, we’d be amiss if we didn’t mention what all the ladies at ICLS were watching for: BEYONCE! We were prancing around the clinic singing “If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it” for longer than anyone would hope for. Dr. Sapra said that while Beyonce’s half time performance was truly amazing, ours was just a little lack luster. She captivated the audience the entire time and when she reunited with the other singers of Destiny’s Child the crowd went absolutely wild!
