One thing I love about working at ICLS is the ongoing opportunities for continuing education. ICLS puts tremendous importance on updating and continuing education for all of our staff. The past few weeks have been busy with fall updates and meetings, in and around the GTA.
Last Saturday the entire office was invited to the new Trump Hotel in downtown Toronto for a Service Excellence meeting. The day was dedicated to how we can better educate and elevate the whole patient experience at ICLS. We had a great guest speaker, who specializes in consulting with companies to enhance customer service and satisfaction. We all had a wonderful day and it was capped off with a delicious lunch at the Stock Restaurant at the top of the hotel.
This week, a group of us nurses from the Skin Spa were invited to Cambridge for a 2 day seminar to update us on the latest treatment advances with Ultherapy®. Ultherapy® is one of our newest technologies, which is used to lift and tighten the skin, and patients are loving it! The results we’ve been seeing are superb and I’m over-the-moon whenever I meet a new patient who is looking for this kind of tightening; as I know they’re going to be thrilled! Medical staff across Canada came to see the latest cutting edge technologies and advances. It was a great time to share information and pearls of wisdom from offices across Canada.

This coming Saturday (see I told you we were busy with meetings) we are heading back to Toronto, to the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel for an update on a few of our long-time favourite technologies including IPL™ and fractional lasers like Fraxel® and Profractional™. Even though these technologies have been around for a while, we are always meeting to share information and advances in treatment.
It’s been a busy few weeks here at ICLS, but I feel lucky to be in an environment that prides itself on continuing education. I am surrounded by the latest and greatest in cosmetic surgery technologies, and a company that continuously promotes staff education. Four Seasons here I come…
