This past weekend Dr Khanna, myself and a few other members from our Plastic Surgery team made our way to Montreal, Quebec for the 42nd Annual CSAPS Meeting where Dr Khanna was sworn in as President for the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
The two day meeting was held at Le Westin in beautiful Old Montreal, where all members from the Canadian Society gathered to connect, share and discuss all surgical procedures. Lucky for us, we had the opportunity to sit in and listen which truly was an amazing and very educational experience.
Friday night the team enjoyed a night out on the town, and then we were back at it early Saturday morning for day two of the meeting. Thank goodness for caffeine!
Saturday evening was the CSAPS wrap-up banquet which consisted of a delicious dinner, lots of dancing, live music and last but not least, Dr Khanna taking the podium and accepting her new role as President for the Society. Exciting stuff!
We of course even managed to be tourists for a day, (how could we not?!) which really was fun for all of us to just take a step back out of work mode and enjoy and explore our surroundings. The horse and cart ride we did was a great way to get a feel for what Old Montreal is all about and the “Hop on, Hop off” tour bus ride we did was an amazing way to see the more country side of Montreal and what it has to offer.
All in all, a great trip! Lots of learning, lots of good food and conversation and a ton of laughs. Until next time Montreal : ) …
